Sally,
It's exciting to know that you have accepted this challenge of becoming a Nationally Board Certified teacher in Special Education; you are blazing new ground for our department, and I'm sure you will set the pace for others. Please update us periodically. I'd like to know what it involves, and the type of rigor. I'm sure you'll be a good example and motivator for others.

I am currently working on my boards...it is due March 31. I am ready to start videoing in my classroom and am looking for people who have had this experience. I did find a teacher in Park Hill who is going to work with me some...it would be nice if someone else were in our district as well. Everyone I have visited with in our building who has completed them comments on how important it is to work with someone who has.

Good question, Sally. I am not aware of any of our Speds working on National Boards.
Any one interested in working on National Board Certification?

Good Morning Friends! I hope our group will be a benefit to all of us. This is a valuable tool in sharing information, strategies, and resources. A great way to work smarter not harder. We have experts in our district and they are all willing to share their knowledge.
Please let us know if we can do anything to help you utilize this tool.
Have a great day and stay warm!
